One exciting feature of the Windows Embedded CE has been the offer of shared source code. From the outset there was not much to feel very different about. The target connection windows and tools had a new look. It feels more like 2005 (atleast as far as Platform Builder is concerned). ![]() The Visual Studio 2008 does not look very different. However the installation time was close to 20 hours or so on a slow connection. ![]() The executable started the installation and performed the entire installation by downloading the required files from the web.
